  1. Hi Ed – yes we noticed that strange answer also during the meeting, it only makes sense to turn the steering wheel towards the curb when facing downhill. I checked the online exam and it was displaying the wrong answer (you can see it for yourself if you take the exam online – the link is in the references section). I have checked the UK Highway Code and made the correction. Thanks for pointing it out!

  2. Didn’t mean to be so terse…..the test was very interesting. (And I have driven in Chile, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, Latvia….)

    Hopefully the folks at the meeting had fun.

    Oh, do you really turn the wheel away from the curb when parking pointing downhill? That one still has me scratching my head.

    The members at the meeting sure had a lot of fun (and dare say it, some of us learned a thing or two).

    Great way to introduce the capabilities of the new web site too!
