Final Tech II Session for 2021 – Saturday October 30th

Our last Tech II day will be on Saturday October 30th in North York (near Lawrence and Avenue Road) from 1 to 4 pm.   All club members are welcome to borrow the club’s Tech II to program spare keys, run diagnostics, etc.   We will show you how to enable security mode if you want to make any changes to your Saab’s programming.

If you are not a member or your membership has lapsed, we would encourage you to join or renew

This event will be hosted by Rick Clayton.  We’ll be very happy to show you how the tool works but as always, any changes you make to your Saab will be your responsibility.

Masks will be required for this event as it will be indoors.  The location is 40 Sylvan Valleyway–enter via Douglas Ave, which runs east off Avenue Road, just north of Lawrence Ave W in Toronto. Pusateri’s and Royal Lighting are just to the south, so watch out for traffic!  There is underground visitor parking which we’ll ask everyone to use unless it becomes full, then use the overflow aboveground parking. Please use the intercom access code 142 for garage entry.

Another Outstanding Fall Colours Tour and AGM

The view from Irish Mountain at the end of the drive

Despite a little rain at times, it was a beautiful drive with a strong turnout. The weather relented during the noon AGM and we were able to complete the club business successfully. Thanks to Gus at Grand Valley Brewery for the tour afterwards, and to Ed for suggesting the visit to Vail’s Orchards for apple shopping en route to our final destination, the Irish Mountain Lookout which was spectacular. The photo above is the view a few minutes before a massive but short lived storm passed over us. A day to remember. If you have photos from the drive that you want to share on the website, send them to webmaster@saabclub.ca.
