Saab Club 2022 Winter Drive

This year’s Winter Drive will cover some interesting back roads while not getting out of the Greater Toronto Area. Some of them will be in Toronto itself!

All Saabs are invited, whether or not they are part of the Saab Club of Canada. And all Saab Club of Canada members are invited, even if they are driving some other car for winter.

Among other destinations, we will visit a beach from where we can (safely) view the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. There will also be old cemeteries for those who like to do some historical exploration. So bring shoes or boots that can handle some snow and ice.

We will meet at 11:00 AM the Tim Horton’s/Wendy’s at the southeast corner of Sheppard Ave. E and Morningside Ave.

From the Morningside exit of the 401, head north and cross Milner Ave. Just before Sheppard Ave, turn right at the first entrance to the Esso station and head towards the back of the Home Depot in the distance. We will meet in the back corner. (If you miss it, turn right at Sheppard, and then right into the parking lot.)

Note, there will be no scheduled washroom breaks once the tour is underway! Estimated length of the Drive will be about two hours.
