On September 12th a covey of Saab Club members congregated at the Burlington Saabhenge for the delayed and Covid modified AGM for 2020. Said henge is located on the grounds of Kilbride School and appears to be used for gatherings of blind followers of mysterious faiths: e.g. Saabs. 13 dedicated souls gathered around the ring of stones to ponder all things Saab. During this pondering, the Board of Directors for 2020-2021 was elected and the Club Officers made protestations regarding the state of the Club. Navigating to the site of the henge was commanded by providence or fate or…. something. This involved meeting at a designated location (Lowville Park) whereupon the prescribed secret location was revealed, followed by a short ritual drive to the henge. The proceedings were followed by lamentations about all things Saab (and a picnic).
The BOD is changed by the retirement of Martin Wojtowicz (but continuing as VP) and the election of Aleem Syed.
