Now that the worst of winter is past (we hope!) the Club is organizing a winter tour for this coming weekend, Sunday March 2nd, 2025 to Ice Racing at the Minden Fairgrounds.
This will be the final 2025 weekend for Ice Racing and the conclusion of your VP’s rookie year. Christopher Jones is competing this year in his 2009 Manual NG93 SportCombi XWD (as #93 of course!)
On Sunday March 2nd, 2025 Club members will meet at 9:30am at the McDonalds (B4 Beaver Avenue, Beaverton, ON, L0K 1A0) and at 10am convoy together to the Ice Racing at the Minden Fairgrounds ( 2048 Fleming Rd. Minden, ON, K0M 2K0).
Sunday races start at 11am and run till about 4pm.
Be sure to bring warm clothes because spectators watch the fun from the top of the snowbanks.
If you find yourself wanting to participate next year, you’re ahead of the game. To compete in these races, drivers must be a member of a CASC affiliated Club. (Exception for a one time temporary license.) As a Saab Club of Canada member you you’re in.
