Nostalgia Day. We’ll have slides (remember slides?) from the Club’s storied past. What’s on those slides? Come and find out! We’ll have archive copies of the club’s newsletter Gryphon, going back to the 1970s, and various documents from the Club’s EDS sessions. We’re also going to show a VHS video (remember videotape?) of the Saab Talladega Challenge, which should have lots of interesting pictures and details of those events where Saab made its name in North America. Other Saab publications will be on hand for browsing.
In addition, we’ll have a Tech II tech session in the
underground parking lot (to get around December weather). Pizza and pop
will be provided by the Club.
There are quite a few long-time Club members who haven’t made it to one of our events for quite a while–this is a great chance to reconnect and reminisce. For newer members, you can learn about the Club’s history and connect with Saab’s history. If you have some technical issues, we can use the Tech II to investigate. Furthermore, there should be a wealth of Saab ownership and maintenance expertise on hand.
