November 21st Meeting: Take an Interactive Foreign Driving Exam

Have you been adventurous enough to rent or borrow a car while traveling outside of Canada and the US? If so, did you have the opportunity to brush up on the local rules, or did you take your chances and go with the flow? Here is your opportunity to test your knowledge and share stories of driving abroad.

In our last meeting of 2012 we’ll be taking practice questions for driving exams in foreign countries including China, the UK, Germany, and a few other interesting locations. In this interactive meeting you will have a chance to answer questions with the group, and if you have a WiFi capable laptop, tablet or smartphone you can also take the exam yourself using eZone’s free wireless. We’ll also be sending the web link to members during the meeting so that even if you cannot join us in person, you can take the exam.

Date: Wednesday November 21st
Time: 7:30 pm
Presenter: Fred Hopper
Venue: eZone – 120 North Queen St. Toronto, Ontario M8Z 2E2 (theezone.ca)

September Meeting: Come on baby let's get out of this town I got a full tank of gas with the top rolled down

Road trips are about the travelling, and not necessarily about the destination.

We’ll cover some interesting drives, from local day-trips to multi-day excursions into the wilder parts of Canada and abroad. This is an interactive ring your own road trip ideas or stories. We hope this will inspire you to get behind the wheel of your Saab (even if just in your imagniation) and take some routes less-traveled.

Date: Wednesday September 19th
Time: 7:30 pm
Speaker: Ed Treijs
Venue: eZone – 120 North Queen St. Toronto, Ontario M8Z 2E2 (theezone.ca)
