I have lost count of the number of Winery Tour’s we have done but I think we’re coming close to 10! Believe it or not we are close but still have NOT been to ALL the wineries in the Niagara area.
This year we held out Meet & Greet at Joseph’s Estate Wines in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this was a beautiful location and a great way to start the day.
Next was our Wine & Cheese pairing at PondView Estate Winery. Rebecca did a great job taking us through a structured tasting and pairing different wines with some really nice cheese. Picnic tables at the side of the Winery made a wonderful location for our Picnic Lunch.
After a scenic cruise along the Niagara Parkway we arrived at Marynissen Estate Winery for a private tasting. Learning a little about the Winery and what they offer, helps appreciate the different wines.
Our last stop is a winery called Between the Lines named after it’s location between 5th and 6th lines. This fairly new and very small winery is run by brothers working off of the family farm producing some very nice wines.
