The club wants to thank Ron for what was a facinating trip back into the early days of automobiles in Canada. It was also facinating to see how a project to recreate a historic vehicle from scratch can be organized – from reverse engineering the plans, sourcing period materials where available, and handcrafting where necessary. Even navigating the complexities of fundraising during a global pandemic is not something most of us would be prepared to take on, but Ron showed us that all of these challenges are achieveable.
