The first Saturday of every month, year round, rain or shine, is our monthly Swedish MEET Ball at IKEA Etobicoke. The latest installment will be Saturday April 5, 2025 from 10am-1pm. It’s located at 1475 The Queensway, Etobicoke, Ontario, M8Z 1T3 IN THE NORTHEAST LOT. If you can’t make it this month, we’re there at the same place the first Saturday of every month.
The following day, Sunday April 6, 2025 again from 10am-1pm Volvo enthusiast Alex Sándor Csank (who also helped bring the first Swedish Meet Ball to Ottawa) has organized this seasons’ first at IKEA Ottawa on his own initative. If you’ve been to a Saab Club Ottawa IKEA event before, it’s in exactly the same place – pretty much as far as you can get from IKEA to the West and still be in IKEA’s part of the mall’s parking lot. Cars usually start backing into the spots perpendicular to the 417 (Trans-Canada Highway). There’s plenty of overflow parking to the South.

Whether you attend Etobicoke, Ottawa, or BOTH all Saabs, Volvos, Koenigseggs, and those who love them are welcome to attend. While these are official Saab Club of Canada events, you do NOT need to be a Saab Club of Canada member! Come and meet old friends and make some new ones and enjoy a breakfast or lunch at the IKEA restaurant as well.
