Aug 20th meeting 10:30am at Featherstone Estate Winery 3678 Victoria Ave in Vineland. Our picnic lunch this year will be at Mingle Hill Farms in St Anns followed by a stop at Ridge Road Estate Winery. Next we’ll take a cruise out to Iain & Elle Stern’s for a BBQ and to check out their shop and Saab collection! Remember to bring your lawn chair, picnic lunch and your Saab!

NOTE additional Saab Club bonus: Club President Ed T. will be there for at least part of the event, with the Club’s Tech II and laptop with security access. The Tech II can diagnose Saabs from the later 9000 and C900 (we have an ISAT plug) through to the later 9-3s. (It will not work with the 2010+ 9-5, the 9-7X, nor the 9-2X, amongst others.) As this is coming from Toronto, the exact timing can’t be pinned down, but Ed hopes to be there at least for a few hours, say 11 AM to 1 PM and perhaps later. For those who like to push their SAABs just a little bit harder we have a promotional event on July 14, 2018.
Vice President and BOD member Martin Wojtowicz will be participating in the Time Attack School and Lapping event at the Grand Prix circuit, CTMP near Bowmanville, Ontario. Throughout the day Martin will welcome Club members and, time permitting, will offer rides on the track. All visitors will have an opportunity to participate in “alligator lapping” driving their own vehicles during lunch time. This is a relatively slow speed lapping behind a pace car in order to experience this famous track.
Attendance at the CTMP track grounds will be free to all visitors on July 14 but, you should contact Martin at [email protected] email prior to the event if you wish to schedule a ride on the track. There are some conditions attached.

Budd’s is hosting a BBQ for all Saab owners. This is not limited to Saab Club members nor do you need to be a Budd’s client. If you know someone who owns a Saab, please share this information with them.
Special News: We have purchased a limited quantity of the NINES magazine, the publication put together by the Saab Club of North America. These will be available on a “first come, first served” basis at the BBQ event. If there are any left over, we will bring them to our next club meeting.
Note: these magazines will only be issued to registered
club members.
