Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Visit

Join us Sunday March 19th for a drive and visit to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton.  It will be the last official day of winter and a great way to welcome spring.  This event is for all Saab enthusiasts, club members and beyond. This is a family-friendly event.

The museum’s mission is to acquire and maintain a complete collection of aircraft that were flown by Canadians and the Canadian military from the beginning of World War II to the present, including related aviation artifacts and memorabilia of significant historic importance to this period.  It is also the home of one of the only two airworthy Lancaster bombers in the world.

We will be meeting at the Tim Horton’s at 150 N Queen St, Etobicoke (in front of PetSmart, one minute West of eZone) at 10:00 AM.  We’ll depart at 10:15 AM sharp, so please be a bit early!   If this location is out of your way, you can also meet us at the Museum at 11:00 am.  If it is not raining we’ll meet outside in the parking lot.  The Museum is located at 9280 Airport Road in Mount Hope next to Hamilton International Airport.  There is plenty of free parking.

The Club will pay the admission for all club members in good standing and their families and guests. Otherwise the cost is $10 (age 13+) or $8 (age 6-12).

To help us in our planning please complete the form below (or send an email to [email protected]) to let us know if you plan to attend and how many guests you are bringing.  We hope to see you there!
